The day was cloudy, rain shimmered slightly in the morning, awaking Solo from her drifting sleep as she lay under the dumpster; rain hitting her wet nose. Her hazel eyes jerked open, making her pressence in the alley more applied. The rats scattered away, down to the sewers where they belonged, Solo's paws crept out of the blue dumpster and she slicked out from under the filthy shelter.
She peered around; wooden crates, trash bags and silver cans, but no memebers of Riot. Solo shook the dust from her white coat and stepped to peak out from the alley. In a humming buzz the city life appeared to her. She heard people talking, yelling, laughing, and their loud shoes click the sidewalk. She watched them all walk as if in a herd or swarm, crossing streets. The cars zoomed past in a blur.
Solo stepped back in a whirl. She hated the city humans. Solo realized she had a bit of a list of things she hated, excelling everyday and growing longer...But Humans was written in bold red at the top of the list. She stormed back to the alley's quiet peace and pased in a circel. Where was everyone? The alley was the only place that was silent..ironic how close it was to the busy streets. Solo stood and looked around, listening for one of her pack. But there was no one around. The rain drops from the gutters fell and it was the loudest thing she heard; like a needle drop.

A large, muscular fae stalked through the many legs of the humans. Irritating creatures they were. Very irritating. Many of them jerked away from her with a wrinkled face and sour words. She simply growled under her brath at them, it was a waste of time, humans. Then, one tried to touch her. With a vicious snarl and a snap to their hand, the child began to scream. Tequila smiled, satisfied and began to trot towards the alley, no one noticed her, surprisingly at the amount of fuss the stupid brat made, and she entered the alley unseen. She was met with one of her pack, Solo, the border collie. She grunted at her. "Where is everyone?" she sat down, her thick tail landing in a puddle, adding to the wetness of her golden yellow coat.

The rain was slowing, less and less. Solo was about to rummage through the scraps of the city people when one from her pack approached. She was satisfied and calm once realizing she was the only one who noticed the echoing silence. Not even the scurrying rodents made up for the quiet.
"I don't know....Just woke up." She paused and looked at Tequila, "Where were you?" She questioned simply. Whilie waiting for an answer she crept over to the glistening silver trash cans and with a kick, she knocked one to the ground. The smells of the food brought a smile to her usual grim face.

Tequila grunted. "I was looking for some beef, but the cart was closed." she growled angrily, her eyes flashing. The rain began to slow and Tequila stood up and shook her fur. Starting at her head and ending with her tail. Her fur looked less wet when she was finished, and she felt less wet now, for sure. "And just now, I bit a stupid human." she spat on the ground, trying to get rid of the awful taste in her mouth, then the scent of trash entered her nose. And she looked up, her eyes brightening. She padded forward, stepping in multiple small puddles as she made her way towards the trash cans. She scented many things that interested her, but she remained still as she waited for Solo to move.

Solo turned back to the shining silver plate that the humans trash lay upon as she replied, "Serves 'em right. The People think they own the whole city.." She growled. As she dugg her nose into the scrapps, looking for something decent she looked back to Tequila, "And I bet it was one of the humans' pups wasn't it?" She sighed. Children were what she hated most of the town. "Well, you care to join? see as you didnt get a meal.." She nudged her head to the trash and continued scanning the leftovers; to-go bags of vegetables, empty water bottles, and no trach bin was complete without a banana peel. She finally emerged to find a few chicken wings and ripped them out of the trash for her snack...Tequila free to join

Tequila snorted. "Of course! They adults know better." she paused. "Most of them at least." seeing that her swubordinate moved away, she stood up and marched forward importantly. She stuck her nose deep into the can, to where only her thock tail and her muscular haunches could be seen. She grunted as she came out with about half a hot dog in her mouth. She threw up her head and swallowed it in one quick gulp. Her stomach still growled with hunger and her face was twisted in anger. At nothing really. "Let's go hunt." she said flatly to Solo.

Solo licked her chops from the sauce of the wings and watched Tequila swallow down a hot dog. Such an odd name for a food that has nothing to do with a canine whatsoever. Solo replied, "Well I've met some full grown humans that are pretty gullible.." She shrugged. Finding that the chicken wings didn't cause her satisfaction, she found the idea to hunt splended, "Okay." She got to her feet and looked at the exit of the alley. People passed by each second and she felt an urge to growl.

Tequila grunted. "Yeah, I guess, but I still hate them." she snarled coldly. As Solo stepped forwards, Tequila followed her, abandoning the trash can. She stood at the entrance to the alley and watched the people bustle by them. She growled quietly and had to resist the urge to snap at their legs. She darted out quickly, her tail held down low and her ears flattened. Her eyes darted about as she quickly darted into the road, where she swerved to avoid a car and then waiting on the other side for Solo.

The cars ran swiftly by the blacktop in a blur, Solo stared Tequila straight the the face just behind the loud vehicles that honked as they sped.... Selfish humans...How are dogs supposed to get anywhere with these clanky machines running aorund?... She darted with aggression in her eyes, shoving the townsmen as they walked along the sidewalk. A blue car's headlights lit her coat and the car horn blew loud for the whole city to hear. She raced by, not stopping to glare at such monster and skidded to a stop, next to tequila. Her supprise exit caused a few people's eyes to wonder at her, so she was content to stare back at them all, in aggitation. "Lead the way," She then half smiled to Tequila, ready to leave the view of these crazy driving machines.
