the sounds of the flowing river rang through Kyo's ears. it was actually quite the calming sound, much better then all the noise that goes on within the town. he spent a lot of time out here away from the humans and most other dogs that roamed it after he finished doing anything he had planed for the day. he often laid beside the river just like he was doing now. the tip of his tail touching the water's surface, maybe it was his old age or maybe this some just something he liked to do he hadn't quite decided yet. but he really enjoyed being way out here away from others.

Dancing in the leaves.. The fae licked her lips pleasantly, leaning back from the flowing waters that lay before her mixed pelt. It was a beautiful time of twilight, the great star hovering closer to the horizon. The sky was a deep shade of lavender or black in the far west, and stars still twinkled brightly like they had forever to do so. But, in the east, the atmosphere was dyed a mild yellow or orange which faded into the night-colored air. It seemed like any other morning, to tell the truth. The multi-hued female backed away from space she was standing in, lifting her head to look to her left and right; Towards something she thought she'd heard. She shook her head. There was nothing there, so she took another step forward and leaned, once again, towards the river that stood before her paws. The vixen's salmon-pink tongue began lapping up the cool, fresh liquid, finally quenching her thirst for the moment. The female, Eineece, moved her orbs upward when she noticed a small, barely noticeable change in the surface of the waters, almost instantly spotting a large, black male with numerous scars; Though he appeared to be a few years older than she, but she paid nearly no mind to that.
The female took a graceful step back, keeping her eyes locked on the other dog that stood on the opposite shore. Her ears flattened and her tail drooped lower than the casual position of a dog's tail. But wait a second. Why was she so worked up over an older dog that wasn't even very close to her? The vixen's answer was quite obvious once she decided; Her ears perked back up to be sure she wouldn't miss a single movement of his. Plus, her tail returned to normal and she padded back over to the water, but didn't drink. Instead, she turned so that her back faced the grizzled male and laid down; Relaxing beside the stream in the peaceful morning that was mostly quiet, except for the chattering of birds overhead in the trees. She wasn't one to start a conversation, or talk much at all for that matter, laying in quiet seemed to be her specialty. .. Isn't so bad with Eineece.

Kyo was watching the small fish that inhabited the river, each one had there own purpose in life. just as he had his own, though as knowledgeable as he is his purpose in this life was a mystery to him. in his younger days he thought he knew what his purpose in life was but as fate would have it his true purpose laid else where wating to be discovered untill then the life he was living now suited him just fine.
he winched a bit when one of the fish nibbled on his tail thinking that maybe it was something that it could eat it didn't really hurt but it did surprise him a bit first time a fish actually did that to him. he removed his tail from the surface of the river when he caught the sight of another dog. lucky for him he was laying with his left side towards the river or wouldn't have notice. he watched her for a moment, at first see seemed frighted or nervous but quickly got over it then turned he back to him.
he couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the sight, "you know young lass it wouldn't be wise to turn your back on a stranger you never know what they might be up too."

Dancing in the leaves.. The resting femme's ears flicked in a backward direction, hearing the slight dripping of water. It wasn't really that surprising, being near a river and all. Her soft, red and cream head slowly moved onto her fore paws, and her eyes closed; Taking in as much peace as she could before it was over. Up in a tree across the stream, a bird startled and flew away; Squawking and screeching it's little head off. The reason it flew away was the fact that that very same dog she had seen on the other shore had seen something amusing, for he was making a noise that broke up her peaceful morning. Her head jerked upward and curved to where she could see the male, her bi-colored irises following it's trail just as fast as it went. Apparently the dog was laughing at her, his eyes were staring straight at the fae. "You know, young lass, it wouldn't be wise to turn your back on a stranger. You never know what they might be up too." Eineece knew his words were true, and she couldn't help but let out a soft laugh.
The vixen's maw was creased with a smile, his opinion towards her actions was slightly amusing. "Oh, I don't think I need to pay attention to that fact this time," she replied softly, standing up to her paws and taking a step forward to the water and looking towards him. "You don't look like one to attack without reason." The femme didn't actually know he was safe, but he seemed nice enough at the moment. And if anything did happen to come up, she could probably outrun him or possibly fight him off. .. Isn't so bad with Eineece. [/size]

a slight smile creased Kyo's maw he could tell he was going to like this female she judging on what maybe he would or maybe what she had hoped but she was completely right about him. but that didn't mean he still couldn't teach her a lesson or two, " hmmmm either you are good at guessing or you have a good judge of character, but as i'm sure you now lass looks can be deceiving. it would be wise to stay on the safe side of things, unless perhaps you want to live a short life.
Kyo lowered his muzzle toward the river and lapped up the cool water. he then stood to his paws his many scars becoming more visible, she shook his fur removing any snow that was on his pelt. he turned to face the femme, "i suppose i should introduce my self, my name is Kyo Blackheart. i'm sorry for disturbing you but your actions was something i felt must be pointed out. if you plan to live long on your own, that is if your a loner like i am.

Dancing in the leaves.. The vixen listened to his words carefully, taking in every piece of information he was offering. A soft brush of wind picked up and blew the dogs' pelts, ruffling their fur and making it even colder than it was. The day was quite cold, though it would hopefully get warmer later on. "Oh, I've been assured of that many times before." She interrupted as he began to get a drink from the river. Before she could continue, the black dog continued and she closed her open maw that was ready to speak. She listened as he introduced himself, and she threw a small, sweet smile his way.
"What I was going to say is that I'm neither reckless nor am I careful. I'm pretty much between the two," Eineece would've taken another drink or two also, but she still wasn't thirsty so stayed in the space she stood in. "And it's a pleasure meeting such a wise dog such as yourself, Kyo." She bowed her russet-brown head to him, but quickly raised it back up. "I am Eineece, if you were even slightly curious." .. Isn't so bad with Eineece.

Kyo bowed his to the fae when she said she was pleased to meet such a wise dog,"why thank you, but i have only become so wise because i have made so many mistakes over the years. being wise is something that comes with age and maybe a bit of street smarts." he added at the end.
"I am Eineece, if you were even slightly curious." Kyo was curous to know her name but he figured if he introduced himself she would do the same, "it is nice to meet also Eineece, thats quite a unique name i have not come across any other dog with that name. so Eineece how often do you come out to the river i come here quite alot myself but i have never seen too many others here."
